A Songthaew Ride Through Old Bangkok, Shot on Film
July 2, 2026
A quiet six-minute wander through backstreets most tourists never see, shot handheld on a beat-up 16mm camera. No point buying anything — just worth the six minutes.
No narration, no music drops, just the sound of the engine and the city going by. The grain and the light leaks do more work than any color grade could — it feels like found footage from a decade that doesn’t quite exist anymore.
Filed under Style because the whole thing is basically a mood board: shophouse shutters, someone’s laundry line, a monk crossing at a red light. Worth a rewatch on a slow Sunday.
